15-100 Arcs and Iridescence
The *Arcs and Iridescence* title refers to of both the vintage china - with pearlised surface and arched legs and handle - and butterflies and their quivering flight paths.
The sweet lidded bowl is complimented by the scarlets and oranges of nasturtium petals. The colours are divinely bright on this generous watercolour paper.
This piece radiates 'uplift', a sunny afternoon captured for your forever enjoyment, even during winter darkness. This will suit you if nasturtiums are your Happy Place - mine too! - for your cosy reading spot or anywhere you want glowing light and warmth!

One of a Kind Watercolour paintings are 100% original and unique paintings. If you love owning and/or gifting bold art pieces that you know for sure no one else will have, these are for you.
I create the hand-drawn lines with light-fast water-resistant Art Spectrum ink and an old-fashioned 'dip pen'. Once I’ve created the lines, I do all my colouring with Winsor and Newton Artists’ Watercolours. When creating my original art, I use archival quality watercolour paper. This time it's 100% cotton Canson paper.
This image is about 21 cm wide x 32 cm high (9" x 12.5") and the paper itself has ample room for framing with a window mount! Good framing adds around 10 - 12cm (4") on all sides, more at the bottom.
I recommend ordering Unframed if it's coming to you via the postal service/s - this saves us both money on postage, and gives you the chance to support a local framing artisan, too. [Unsure about framing? Click this to get my new art collectors tips sheet here :) ]
If you meet me at a market stall to pick up, I can arrange professional framing for you in about 2-3 weeks.
Let me know if you're interested in this picture as a giclee print in the future and I'll consider making it available. M x o
