Apples and Red Peg - one of a kind watercolour
This still life celebrates the abundance of fresh rosy apples on a beautiful fabric, along with a humble-yet-well-designed household peg!
If you're uplifted by bold, colourful still lifes, this is a chance to add a unique piece to your art collection! For someone who appreciates the sight, sound, smell and taste of the first bite of a new season apple, this is a wonderful happy place reminder! This piece would look great as a focal point above an altar, or in a dining room.
If this is sold out (there's just the one original piece!) join my mailing list to hear first about the next painting!
One of a Kind Watercolour paintings are 100% original and unique paintings. If you love owning and/or gifting bold art pieces that you know for sure no one else will have, these are for you.
I create the hand-drawn lines with light-fast water-resistant Art Spectrum ink and an old-fashioned 'dip pen'. Once I’ve created the lines, I do all my colouring with Winsor and Newton Artists’ Watercolours. When creating my original art, I use archival quality watercolour paper. Usually it's 100% cotton Arches paper from France, otherwise it's another most excellent cotton, archival watercolour paper.
This image is about 23 cm wide x 32 cm high (32" x 12.5") and the paper itself has room for framing with a window mount! Framing will add around 10 - 12cm (4") on all sides, more at the bottom.
I recommend ordering Unframed if it's coming to you via the postal service/s - this saves us both money on postage, reduces the chance of damage in transit, and gives you the chance to meet and support a local framing artisan, too.
If you meet me at a market stall to pick up, I can arrange professional framing for you.
